Want a SDR that could monitor the whole HF band? Try the RX-888 MK2 SDR receiver. The RX-888 MK2 SDR is a direct sampling SDR receiver with USB3.0 streaming for HF/VHF/UHF band. There are 2 SMA ports on the front, one is for HF and 6M band(1kHz-64MHz), and the other is for VHF/UHF(64 -1700MHz). For the HF and 6M band, the front end is a LTC2208 ADC for direct sampling, with a PE4312 for -32dB to 0dB attenuation, a AD8370 as the Variable Gain Amplifier(-11dB to +34dB). An LPF is also equipped on the HF front end for a better Image Rejection. The RX-888 provides a 64MHz on HF band with a high dynamic range. For VHF and UHF, the core is the R828D, which is a wideband tuner with a built-in 16bit ADC, and it gives a 10MHz bandwidth on VU bands.
The RX-888 SDR receiver is housed in a black aluminum enclosure. In order to improve the heat dissipating, 3 heat sinks are used and sticked on the aluminum housing.
As for the software, the RX-888 is compatible with most of the commonly used SDR programs like HDSDR, SDR-Console, SDR#, SDR++, and an ExtIO_sddc.dll file is provided for the software control from SDR programs.
